Operational Changes to Rate Loading on YCS

Agoda is changing the way you load rates for your listings on YCS. Going forward, you will only be able to load Reference Sell Rates for your listings. You will no longer be able to load Net Rates on YCS. Also, all currently loaded Net Rates will be automatically migrated to Reference Sell Rates on YCS.

What exactly is going to happen?

Agoda has completed the process of changing the way you load rates for your listings on YCS. From now on, you are required to load Reference Sell Rates for your listings; you will no longer be able to load Net Rates on YCS.

We have also completed the process of migrating all previously loaded Net Rates to Reference Sell Rates on YCS and the Net Rates previously loaded for your listings have all been automatically adjusted into and are now displayed as Reference Sell Rates. Existing bookings made before 11/30/2023 will not be affected by the migration.

You may change the Reference Sell Rates if you wish to do so. On YCS, you will see the following rate loading options:

“Sell Inclusive” rate which is the Reference Sell Rate inclusive of taxes and fees; and
“Sell Exclusive” rate which is the Reference Sell Rate exclusive of taxes and fees.

How can I make sure that I earn the same from bookings?

To help you understand the impact of the rate migration exercise, we will provide a calculator on YCS that you can use to verify the Base Rate for your listings, which will be available once the rate migration is completed. Base Rate is the estimated tax and fee inclusive amount you will receive after subtracting Agoda’s compensation, additional discounts, and fees for optional programs from the Reference Sell Rate. Please note that the use of Agoda’s calculator is purely for business facilitation purposes. You are responsible for your own verification, determination, and loading of the Reference Sell Rates on YCS.

By using Agoda’s calculator, you agree that Agoda has not represented, nor will be responsible for, the accuracy or completeness of any calculation of the Reference Sell Rates produced by Agoda’s calculator. By use of Agoda’s calculator, you agree to waive all claims against Agoda arising from any error or miscalculation of the Reference Sell Rates for your listings.

Your continued use of Agoda’s services after this date will be considered as your acceptance of the change and your agreement to only load Reference Sell Rates for your listings.
