TTG Asia reports that the Phuket Sandbox program now has official data from the Thailand Tourism Authority for July: more than 14,000 foreign tourists generating 829 million baht (US$24.8 million) in revenue. The largest source market is the US with 1,802 arrivals; 190,843 room nights were booked overall. August has an additional 109,694 room nights in advance bookings and September another 9,182 room nights. Of the 829 million baht in revenue earned in July, 282 million baht was spent on accommodation, 194 million baht on products and services, 175 million baht on food and beverage, and 124 million baht on health and medical services. The average spend per person was 58,982 baht.
